Joe King

Joe King was a prominent Winston-Salem artist and portrait painter.
He also painted a protrait of Queen Elizabeth II and of the former President of the University of North Carolina, Bill Friday.

The latter painting of Friday and his wife, Ida, hangs in the Friday Center at UNC, Chapel Hill.
